Australia–Japan–Korea Trilateral Dialogue

Advancing strategic convergence, digital governance, and maritime security cooperation in Northeast Asia and the Indo-Pacific.

A Joint Initiative of Indo-Pacific Studies Center (IPSC), Australia
with partners in Japan and the Republic of Korea

The Australia–Japan–Korea Trilateral Dialogue is a new IPSC-led initiative convening thought leaders, policymakers, and institutional partners from Canberra, Tokyo, and Seoul. At a time of shifting global alliances and accelerating technological change, this Track 1.5 Dialogue offers a trusted platform for advancing trilateral cooperation on Indo-Pacific strategy, digital innovation, and regional security.

As three of the region's leading democracies and economic powers, Australia, Japan, and Korea share converging interests in upholding international law, deterring coercive behaviour, and safeguarding critical technologies. The Dialogue will serve as a recurring space for strategic foresight, open exchange, and policy influence at the sub-regional level.
