New Course Launch: Mastering Strategy and Policy in the Indo-Pacific

The Indo-Pacific Studies Center (IPSC) is pleased to announce the launch of its newest flagship program:
Mastering Strategy and Policy in the Indo-Pacific — a 10-week online certificate course designed for emerging leaders, analysts, and policy professionals shaping the future of the region.

Course Start Date: August 2025
Format: Online (live + asynchronous)
Duration: 10 weeks
Fee: USD 440 (SAARC-region scholarships available)

From QUAD and AUKUS to climate diplomacy, cyber governance, and sovereignty challenges, this program will equip participants with the analytical tools and strategic insight to navigate the Indo-Pacific’s most pressing policy issues.

Participants will engage directly with IPSC faculty, Distinguished Fellows, and regional experts through live sessions, simulations, and collaborative assignments. The course emphasizes real-world application, peer learning, and policy leadership development.

Hugh S Tuckfield

Hugh Tuckfield is the Director of the Indo-Pacific Studies Center. Hugh is a political theorist and human rights lawyer with degrees in Economics and Law from Monash University, a Master of Human Rights and Democratisation (Asia -Pacific Region) from the University of Sydney and the Kathmandu School of Law, and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Sydney in the Discipline of Government and International Relations.
