By submitting a commentary to the Indo-Pacific Studies Center (IPSC), the contributor agrees to the following terms: 1. Originality and Authorship The submitted work is original, authored by the contributor, and has not been published elsewhere in whole or substantial part. Any sources, references, or quotations are properly attributed and cited. 2. Editorial Discretion IPSC reserves the right to edit the submission for clarity, length, grammar, and style. Substantive edits will be shared with the contributor for approval before publication. IPSC retains the right to decline publication if a submission does not meet editorial standards or align with IPSC’s mission. 3. Usage Rights The contributor grants IPSC non-exclusive rights to publish the commentary on its website and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, newsletters). IPSC may include the piece in printed or digital compilations, event materials, or teaching resources with attribution. 4. Attribution The author’s name and affiliation (if provided) will appear alongside the published commentary. IPSC may include a short biography and headshot if supplied by the author. 5. Withdrawal Contributors may request withdrawal of their submission prior to publication. Once published, IPSC will retain the right to archive the material unless legal or ethical reasons warrant removal.
